Join us on June 12 for a limited-attendance wine walk! Taste wine and support your favorite businesses in Grayslake's Village Center. Celebrate summer with a wine walk! The Shop'n'Swirl will look a little different this year, but you will still have the chance to drink wine, visit your favorite Grayslake small businesses, and win fabulous prizes! Join the Downtown Grayslake Small Business Group and the Grayslake Heritage Center Foundation on June 12 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Tickets are $30 and proceeds will support the Grayslake Heritage Center Foundation. How will this year’s Shop’n’Swirl be different? 1. Early check in will be available at Rudolph's Furniture Store from Wednesday-Friday, June 9-11, 5 pm to 7 pm. Get your swag bag, map, wine glass, hand sanitizer, and special aerating wine pourer. We recommend bringing your map, sanitizer, and bag with you on Saturday. You won’t need your wine glass—each tasting will be poured into a single use 1 oz. cup. 2. The day of the event, stop by one of 3 locations to get your wristband and start exploring! Visit businesses on the map to collect tasting tickets and to get your raffle card signed. Per state guidelines, masks must be worn when unable to socially-distance and business capacity limits must be followed.* If one storefront is full, visit another one and come back later! 3. Tastings will be held outside. Take the tickets you collect at the various businesses and turn them in at any of 5 different outdoor locations to taste a dozen different wines. If one tasting area is full, visit another and come back later! The wine for this year’s tailgate-style tasting has been donated from a variety of area businesses with the intention of safely bringing people to Grayslake’s Village Center. Tickets to the last Shop'n'Swirl Wine Walk sold out quickly, so don't wait! *You know the drill by now: if you aren't feeling well or have had contact with someone who may or does have COVID, please stay home. This event will follow state and CDC guidelines. As of this posting, our region is in Phase 4. Ticket holders will receive updated guidance with the latest rules and regulations closer to the event. This event is 21+. You must bring your ID the day of the event. Please drink responsibly.
