Payton's medical expense gofundme kickoff event at the Davenport High School Softball field on May 22nd at 1200
In late April 2021, Peyton was getting ready for work and had an unexpected vertigo/syncopal episode and fell on her bathroom floor and bathtub fracturing her jaw, temporal bone, as well as shattering at least 8 teeth. After being rushed to the ER and treated/staying for several days, Payton has had to have her Jaw wired shut and be on a liquid diet for the next 3-4 weeks. With her first surgery already completed, there will be several more costing several thousand dollars even with insurance. There is also further medical workup for the “why” it happened which has not even started.
Payton is a Junior at Davenport High School, San Antonio, Texas and plays Varsity Tennis and Softball. She also plays select Softball for the Gold Coast Bombers 18u team and the softball diamond is where she shines! She has received much attention in her softball career and has been recruited by several local Colleges to play at the Collegiate Level. Her high school team and community has come together to have a gofundme kickoff on May 22nd with a softball scrimmage at the High School Softball Field. It will be a baseball vs softball team scrimmage and a HR derby. All proceeds and ticket sales will go to start the Gofundme event/fundraiser.
These funds will help cover Paytons medical costs to include further dental and oral maxillofacial surgeries. Obviously the one day event will help, but not help enough for the increasing medical bills that will occur, as well as long term expenses for why it happened.
Please donate to help Payton and her family through this road of recovery to get her back on the diamond.
Thank you,
