Job Description Forklift Operator 5208 OATES ROAD HOUSTON, TEXAS 77013 Essential Job Functions: Working Fork lift lifting containers Separate containers based on ownership Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Ability to use time and equipment efficiently in order to complete projects on time Ability to handle stress and possess positive trait even in difficult or challenging situations Physical Demand/Work Environment: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles and equipment. Experience/Education Requirement: Basic math knowledge Basic machine knowledge/experience a plus Spanish speaking is a plus (not required) Key Competencies: Able to work 5 days a week 20' 40' 45' understandings Trainable for new processes Ability to learn new processes Ability to work effectively as a team member, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic wear face mask on property if you feel under the weather do not apply until you are well.
