CENTERS FOR MEDICARE & MEDICAID - CMS 2021 Partner Train the Trainer Workshop The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Region VI – Dallas Regional Office and the Area Agency on Aging of the Panhandle cordially invite you to attend the Amarillo New to Medicare 2021 Workshop. There is no cost for the training; however, space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Our targeted audience is diverse! Participants come from the advocacy, medical, mental health, SHIP, Congressional office, agent/broker, and many other communities. Some attendees have very little Medicare knowledge/experience, while others come from backgrounds with extensive Medicare expertise. Each person brings his or her own needs or ideas to share, making the training a great place for networking and resourcing. The agenda will include: • Medicare Parts A, B, C & D • Current information and updates for CMS Initiatives/Programs • State-specific information shared by valuable partners in the senior advocacy and assistance field (Please Note: No Provider Billing/Coding Issues will be addressed at these trainings.) Amarillo College is an approved provider through the Texas State Board of Social Workers and provides CEUs for Social Workers. Amarillo College provides contact hours of continuing education for Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage Family Therapists, and Psychologists.
