Come learn more about plans for our first ever multigenerational development near 51st Street and Redick Plaza in Omaha.
The city of Omaha is experiencing rapid growth in the need for quality, affordable homes. To help meet this need while removing barriers to homeownership, Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is planning a new development at 51st Street and Redick Plaza. This 18.5 acre site has been vacant for more than 20 years and will be transformed into a brand new multi-generational community.
The development will include 88 new homes for empty nesters, families and multi-generational households with low to moderate incomes (LMI). The site will feature a city park that will be redeveloped along with the community. New bike and walking paths will connect the neighborhood with surrounding amenities like a nearby elementary school.
