Waste Recovery Systems is looking to add a full time General Laborer to our team. This candidate will be continuously learning each day and is given the opportunity to excel within the company. A positive attitude and great work ethic are necessary. This employee will be expected to occasionally work in confined spaces. A chauffeur's license is required for this position. Emergency jobs during non-regular work hours will be on a rotational basis. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn Work efficiently in a team and individually Troubleshoot any problems that arise on, or off, the jobsite Take part in on-call emergency jobs; required approx. 1 week per month Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories Maintain comprehensive service documentation Follow all company safety protocol Qualifications Chauffer’s License - Required Ability to lift, up to, 50 lbs. Ability to work overtime if needed Prior experience in construction, environmental, and/or excavating preferred Ability to read and interpret work instructions Maintain a good work ethic and attitude Ability to maintain service documentation daily Ability to apply common sense understanding Ability to carry out written or oral instructions Good oral and written communication skills Use an objective approach toward decision making Ability to maintain a good relationship between the company and customer Self-starter
