Join us for a sunset hike to the fire tower at Bays Mountain Park. Trails used for the hike are rated moderate to advanced. Bays Mountain Park is turning 50. Help the park celebrate its birthday with a hike. If you like the outdoors and nature, this is a great date night program. So lace up your hiking boots and grab your walking sticks to get ready for this four mile round trip hike. Trails used for this hike are rated moderate to advanced. There will be some elevation change along the last seven tenths of the hike. The hike will be led by volunteers from the Tennessee Naturalist Program. The guides will talk about park history and wildlife along the journey. Cost is $15 per person . `Pre-registration is required by logging onto Eventbrite.com. Space is limited. Sturdy closed toe shoes and drinkable water are required. Masks are recommended. Please bring a flashlight for the return trip. Meet in the parking lot in front of the Herpetarium.
