J. P. Industries, Inc. (JPI) is accepting applications for the position of Custodian/Janitor at Davis-Monthan AFB which is located at 3100 S Craycroft Road near Gulf Links. Duties of Janitor/Custodian: Report directly to the Crew Lead/Supervisor. Clean all areas assigned by the Crew Lead. Clean, dust, wipe furniture clean/buff floors, empty, clean, replace plastic bags in wastebaskets/trash containers. Refill/replace restroom tissue, paper towel containers and soap dispensers. Become familiar with all chemicals and follow instructions regarding the safe use and application of each. Attend all training and meetings as directed including classes pertaining to new products and safety. The following shifts are available: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 3pm or 4pm - 10:30pm (full-time), 5:15pm - 9:30pm (part-time), some weekends, and holidays if needed. Qualifications: Experience is desired but not mandatory. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must pass a background investigation. Education: Completion of at least eighth grade education or equivalent is desired. Must be able to effectively communicate and understand job related instructions. Security: Drug testing performed randomly during employment. Employment Eligibility Verification (E-Verify) is mandatory. Must have lived in the U. S. for a minimum three (3) years.
