It is the Gullah Celebration, celebrating our culture here in Beaufort, South Carolina. We will have events over a 3-day period. We will be starting with an Artist Talk on Friday, from 6pm-9pm. The artists talk is free with a featured artist/muscician Richard D. White with special guest Author/Spoken Word artist Flenardo Taylor (Anniston, AL) with catering by Chef Jacues Ficklin (706 Charles St. Catering - Atlanta, Georgia). There will also be music by MP JAZZ. The next day (May 29th) is an all day affair. We will have vendors, arts and crafts, live band, art auction, food, and more entertainment. Doors open at 11am until 12 am. The band Imminent Front will be performing during the day between 11am-5pm as well as at night 6pm-12am. Vendors will be out there with the starting list below. The last day is the Gullah Celebration Brunch. (11am-4pm) this will be held in our seaisland room and cooked by our Executive Chef Collin Eady. The menu will be awesome, and you will be able to mix and match. Shrimp and grits will be on deck!
