The City of Opa-locka is hosting a recruitment information session this Thursday, May 13, for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue openings. The event will take place at Sherbondy Park Village, 215 N. Perviz Ave.
The goal of the open recruitment informational session is to provide information to qualified applicants for the positions of firefighter/EMT and firefighter/paramedic, as well as provide an opportunity for anyone interested in a career with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The Miami Times is the largest Black-owned newspaper in the south serving Miami's Black community since 1923. The award-winning weekly is frequently recognized as the best Black newspaper in the country by the National Newspaper Publishers Association.
