WAUWATOSA, WI - CVS and Walgreens have announced that they will offer Pfizer and BioNTech COVID-19 vaccinations to 12-to 15-year-olds.
The announcement comes after a vote from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention for endorsing emergency authorized use of the vaccines for the age group. Both CVS and Walgreens have said that Wisconsin teens are eligible for vaccination appointments starting today.

In a tweet Wednesday, President Joe Biden said that the endorsement was "one more giant step in our fight against the pandemic."
According to the CDC's website, common vaccine side effects are soreness in the shot area, tiredness, muscle pain and fever. Side effects should go away in a few days.
