There are many, many good things in life, and yes, I must admit a few disappointments. One of the happy consequences of the long Covid isolation was a long overdue return to daily exercise in my small apartment. It filled a void. Listening to Apple music allowed me a thirty minute return to happier chapters in life and also became a physical asset healthwise. And fortunately, my new stationery bicycle was delivered before lockdown. And indeed that was a happy thing. However, now as a few tired items emerge daily from my spring wardrobe, I am thrilled to notice a few long forgotten muscles have returned. And that certainly falls into the column of good things. Or so I thought. When I briefly glanced online into my favorite designer's website, I noticed a not so good thing. It (or she, he or ?) has changed sizing. I guess they didn't notice how hard I had worked to rediscover those muscles. The site now features "Boxy" in every item I normally purchase. For the first time in several years, I crave "Fitted" and the category is seemingly obsolete. Is that a suggestion that I reintroduce butter pecan ioe cream to my world? Or perhaps indulge once again in Leonidas chocolate? Or,, heaven forbid, forego my daily exercise session? If so, I will refuse, possibly with the exception of the ice cream. I labored too long and hard for these quite small and long absent muscles to return, and I certainly don't need "boxy" to chase them into oblivion again. And I'll also save money and possibly use it for the butter pecan.
