BEVERLY, MA — Beverly will begin its spring hydrant flushing program Monday night in North Beverly.
The Beverly Water Department will be flushing hydrants throughout the city over the next several weeks. Flushing will take place between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
The program will start in North Beverly.
Discoloration of water may occur. If that happens, the Beverly Water Department asks residents t0 "allow more time for the water system to settle down before using any water."
Once the system does settle down, run water on cold until any remaining discoloration is gone.
