Rich Mattson is a Minnesota singer-songwriter and musician recognized for his work leading rock and roll/Americana bands The Glenrustles, Ol’ Yeller, The Tisdales, and current side project The Bitter Spills (folk duo with Baby Grant Johnson) and Tired Eyes (Neil Young tribute with Alan Sparhawk of LOW). He is also quite well-known for his studio work at Sparta Sound in northern Minnesota, where along with producing his own albums, he has recorded literally hundreds, if not thousands, of musical artists. In the midst of a worldwide pandemic, Dan Israel releases his 16th album Social Distance Anxiety Disorder, which is riding on the heels of the release of his acclaimed 2019 album Social Media Anxiety Disorder. The two albums are closely related, and not simply in terms of their titles - many of the songs on the new release were written at the same time as (or even prior to) the songs on the 2019 album. Recorded at Sparta Sound on Minnesota's Iron Range with Rich Mattson, the album is a 9-song return-to-basics triumph for Israel, featuring melodic and memorable (and sometimes blisteringly angry) rock songs with hooks and guitar riffs aplenty (many provided by underrated guitar ace Mattson). 7pm Dan Israel 8:30pm Rich Mattson----- Gentleman Forager EatsWild and wildly delicious food is expertly prepared by "Gentleman Forager Eats".
