Creative Lawn and Landscapes is seeking a Chemical Technician who possesses spraying and lawn fertilizing experience Current Applicator License A and E preferred, however we will train the right person that is willing to become certified by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Mix and apply fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors or chemical application on lawns, trees or shrubs according to specifications and fill out appropriate paperwork for site and fertilizer/chemical used Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively, ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions Must be able to safely operate equipment and provide preventative maintenance to keep equipment in working order Must possess a strong work ethic, self-motivated and work hard with limited supervision Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be willing to help in other aspects of the company when times are slow; lawn crews, fall cleanups, snow removal in the winter Previous applicator experience using a ride-on spreader/sprayer preferred, experience in lawn care and landscape helpful This is a full time seasonal position with opportunity for year round employment for the right candidate.
