Bystander to Upstander is an interactive scenario-based session that prepares participants for interrupting hate and bias in their lives. Diversity Council and Little Thistle are partnering up to bring the "Listen. Learn. Act." Educational Series to our community. Diversity Council is a local nonprofit that develops and delivers education programs to organizations, businesses, and schools on the topics of understanding and uncovering biases, standing up against injustices around us, better understanding definitions and issues around race and racism. They will be offering three sessions based on their existing curriculum at Little Thistle Brewery. The topics will build upon each other, so you are invited to attend as many of the three sessions as possible, although, they can certainly each be taken as stand-alone opportunities since they each cover unique content.
