Description
CATONSVILLE, MD — More than one-third of Maryland's gas stations are without gas as of Thursday as the East Coast began to experience shortages following a cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline. Although the pipeline has begun to restart operations, panic buying of gasoline has caused some stations to run out.
Colonial Pipeline has said it will take several days for the supply chain to return to normal. Until then, according to GasBuddy.com, several gas stations in the Catonsville area are running low on gasoline supplies.
Drivers can scout ahead for fuel by using online tools, such as Gas Buddy's website and app, both which have updates about stations that still have gas supply and those that are running low.
Carroll Motor Fuels at 500 Frederick Road is running low on fuel as of Thursday noon, according to GasBuddy.com. Several other stations in the area still have solid supplies of gasoline, including the Crown at 607 Frederick Road and the Shell at 925 Frederick Road.
