People often ask about how the RTM works or what issues the Board of Education is considering. Perhaps you would like to know how the mill rate is calculated, or what planning and zoning matters are being considered, and more importantly how town boards work together to promote the quality of life in Darien. Come learn about how decisions are made from leaders of town boards on issues that are important to you and your family. Join the League of Women Voters of Darien on May 20 at 7 p.m. for an online discussion with First Selectman Jayme Stevenson, Board of Finance Chairman Jon Zagrodzky, Board of Education Chairman David Dineen, Planning and Zoning Commission Chairman Steve Olvany and RTM Moderator Seth Morton. Questions from the audience will follow the presentations. The program will be held via Zoom and moderated by league member Jean Sweeney. It is free and open to the public.
