We currently have a full-time position available for a Commercial Landscape Account Representative who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts including commercial, retail and multi-family property accounts. Account Representatives have a strong work ethic, enjoy interacting with our clients and fellow employees while overseeing a variety of large commercial properties. The Account Representative is responsible for meeting and surpassing our client expectations, balancing the day-to-day maintenance along with up sales to insure both client and company needs are met. Account Representatives will identify opportunities for up sales within the portfolio utilizing their technical, organization and customer knowledge to add value to the customer and their property. Responsibilities: • Proactively manages the business portfolio as a profit center; increases revenue, leverages resources and track expenses to ensure revenue, efficiency, and gross margin goals are met • Creating and implementing annual landscape budgets for all major accounts including amounts for work to be billed in addition to the maintenance contract • Provide renovations, enhancements, and tree care proposals as necessary throughout the year for all accounts to achieve overall sales goals. • Coordinates and schedules use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum return • Completion of work within budget, safety guidelines, and most important quality standards. • Ensures that customers are completely satisfied through effective communication, customer service, relationship building, and regular site visits • Working closely with construction and/or enhancement supervisor to ensure budgets are implemented and extra billable work is performed in a timely, accurate and profitable manner. • Providing assurance that contract obligations, quality standards and expectations are fulfilled. • Meeting maintenance supervisors and foremen, regularly for walkthroughs, weekly task scheduling, and horticultural training. • Scheduling of irrigation technicians to make sure irrigation clocks are properly programmed and work orders for onsite repairs are completed in a timely manner. • Provides training, coaching, mentoring to develop field staff to reach potential and established goals for company growth while Identifying and developing crew leaders. • Conduct performance reviews of field personnel. Qualifications • Two or Four-Year Degree in Ornamental Horticulture, or similar, preferred (but not required) or 3 to 5 years’ experience in Commercial Landscape Management. • Knowledge in irrigation systems and controller management. • Plant and pest identification. • Ability to develop strong client and employee relationships. • Provide field training and direction to maintenance crews on a weekly basis. • Hands on approach to task management, employee and customer interaction. • Responsive to client's needs and requests able to identify and resolve customer concerns. • Must have valid/good driver’s license. • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) oral and written skills preferred; but not required.
