SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The Pool Monitor is responsible for all activities in and around the pool area. Also, will be working in conjunction with the recreation staff; making sure all children are safe at all times. The Pool Monitor must be swift and very observant while on duty. This role is part-time/seasonal/temporary: 4-5 hours per day for 4/5 days per week. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor pool area, keep it safe and clean. Monitor must make sure everyone signs the sign-in sheets Monitor and make sure no one is in the pool under the age of (14) Report all problems to recreation supervisor. Monitor restrooms often. Clean pool area, pick any debris, clothing, or other items left behind Assist and work with other staff members for special events Work in recreation room when raining, assist with the game room activities. Enforce all facility rules. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrate ability and knowledge to work with youth implementing property rules and guidelines. High School Diploma or GED required.
