I raised in very kind and caring way few Betta fish. Father was Blue Moon and mother blue Dragon. They now got bigger and need separate tanks as they can live only one Betta per tank. Betta fish make a great pet as they have lots of character and curiosity. They feel most happy in no less than 10 gallon tank with gravels, real water plants and lots of rocks made into caves for them to swim and discover. Petco sell great 10gallon kits for $37, on sale most of the time. They also, need small tank hitter as they tropical fish. YouTube has lots of videos about how to keep Betta fish in humane happy way.
