The Inventory Control/Shipping & Receiving Manager is a department of one responsible for managing the internal and external shipping/receiving process for raw and finished product, inventory processes and staging and pre-kit. This will be achieved by maintaining a culture of functional excellence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Receiving (All items other than RMA repairs): o Comparing PO, packing slip, and Certification documentation for correctness and continuity o Physically and electronically logging parts received in multiple systems in a timely fashion o Reporting all discrepancies to Procurement for follow up with vendors o Repackaging and labeling of parts with appropriate labels and tracking information o Storage of parts in appropriate inventory location or distribution of items to appropriate employees • Must properly handle electronic parts using ESD grounding straps (ankle or wrist) and grounded floor mats to maintain integrity of delicate electronic components. • Compiling parts kits based on open work orders in inventory system in advance of production requirements. • Reporting inventory shortages and upcoming needs to Procurement upon discovery. • Assisting other departments with parts requests and other needs upon request. • Prepare product (new and repair units) for shipping to clients • Prepare shipping documents and labels and coordinate pick up to meet client deadlines • Confirm accuracy of required Quality and FAA documentation to ship with product • Be familiar with various shippers and utilize knowledge to minimize shipping costs • Work with other departments to ensure timely shipping of product • Received RMA returns into Fishbowl inventory system and provides RMA units and documentation to repair station for repair in a timely manner. • Maintain shipping and receiving space and ensure availability of supplies necessary for shipping • Compiles daily KPI statistics for Quality review per AS9100 requirements. • Must be extremely detail-oriented and follow procedures • Must be able to set and meet deadlines appropriately • Must understand urgency, prioritize, and manage use-of-time in a fast-paced environment • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required Qualifications • Highly motivated and task oriented • Proven attention to detail • Focus on long term solutions • Fluency in MS Office Suite • Knowledge of inventory control programs such as Fishbowl a plus Education: High school graduate; associate degree with courses in electronic and mechanic preferred Experience: 5 years in a similar role and/or the ability to grasp concepts quickly and implement fluidly BENEFITS • 401(k) + employer match • Full medical offering (dental, medical, vision) • Vacation & Sick leave package • Life Insurance • STD Insurance • Many voluntary benefit offerings
