Position Overview Insite Property Solutions, a boutique full service property management company, is looking for a Maintenance Porter to provide general cleaning support to multifamily rental properties. The ideal candidate is skilled in all areas of property cleaning. Our Maintenance Porter must also have excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills. Responsibilities • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them. • Gather and empty interior and exterior trash and recycling receptacles. • Service, clean and supply restrooms. • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. • Remove all stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, around light switches, windows and mirrors. • Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment. • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. • Vacuum flooring and wipe down stainless steel in elevators. • Consistently maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents and coworkers. • Notify managers concerning the need for any repairs needed. • Must ensure that the property is compliant with OSHA standards. • Ensure all custodial issues are attended to in a timely fashion. Qualifications • Have excellent time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. • Must be a self starter multitask and achieve high-quality results under tight deadlines and changing work priorities. • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle liability insurance. • High school diploma or equivalent is required. • Must be physically capable to complete all aspects of the job. Must be able to pass criminal and drug screenings. Must be a reliable, motivated, professional and organized individual.
