SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro's main public library will reopen next week for limited in-person services four days a week, city officials said. The main library at 300 Estudillo Ave. will reopen May 19 and operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Visitors must limit their time in the library to one hour or less and wear a mask while inside. "We are excited to welcome patrons back to the Main Library," acting library Director Bill Sherwood said in a statement. On Tuesdays the library will be open from noon to 8 p.m., and on the other three days the hours will be 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Patrons will be able to browse and choose items from the entire library collection. Self-serve computers, printers and copiers will also be available for personal use. Circulation and reference services will be limited, city officials said. Copyright © 2021 Bay City News, Inc.
