Asphalt Field Superintendent (Denver, CO) Alliance Commercial Maintenance Services in Denver has an immediate opening for a Field Superintendent. This position is responsible for the overall review, execution and completion of projects in the field for commercial property sites. Including but not limited to Asphalt Repair, Paving, Concrete repair and Landscape installation and maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES: > Oversees project organization, implementation, and closeout of multiple projects. > Assists with deadlines based on all working conditions to ensure timeliness > Work closely with Operations team to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as with other departments for support. > Facilitate pre and post on-site walk-through meetings with crew. > Work with the Operations Coordinator to confirm the project scope and to address potential constructability concerns prior to completion of bid / proposal to prospective client. > Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations > Hire crew members per job and allocate responsibilities > Set up scope review meeting with Operations Teams or Sub Contractors on a weekly basis to review all existing and upcoming projects. > Ensure that all log sheets, documents and receipts are being collected and filed as the project is being completed. > Manage unforeseen project issues and operational field challenges that occur daily. > Work in a variety of fields from Asphalt, Concrete, Landscape, Snow Removal plus miscellaneous commercial and residential property maintenance. Job Skills and Requirements: Familiarity with OSHA quality, health and safety standards Outstanding communication Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Leadership Skills: You will have to keep your employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for your employees. Analytical Skills: You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical workday. You will be analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis. 2-3 years of on-the-job experience in the line of work is a must. *Must have a Valid Driver's License * Bilingual (Spanish speaking) *Ability to work additional hours as necessary to maintain project schedules. *Ability to travel, as necessary. *Physical ability to review progress at construction sites in all phases of construction. *24/7 availability during snow season.
