I have a Shih tzu mixed with Chihuahua that doesn't shed much. She is 8 weeks old weighing 2lbs. She is going to be smaller than a Shih tzu (16lbs). She has an inguinal hernia that can be repaired when she gets spayed it doesn't hurt her or cause any health issues. She's had her Parvo shot and dewormed. There is a clinic in Mobile that only charges $85 for spay and $40 for the repair.
