Description

Press release from the City of Roseville: May 12, 2021 Join Roseville's Flower Power team. Roseville is looking for volunteers to help plant flowers at Roseville's Central Park. On May 22 from 9:00 a.m. to noon, we'll be bringing a burst of color to Lexington Ave. The boulevard will be divided into separate plots, and volunteers will be assigned to plots that are spaced apart to ensure adequate social distancing. Volunteers will work shifts from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:30 to noon. The city will provide plants and a limited supply of tools. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools, gloves and protective masks. Volunteers and staff's health and safety is our highest priority. Staff have worked out a plan for minimal contact at safe distances among volunteers and staff. Contact Volunteer Coordinator Rachel Boggs at [email protected] or 651-792-7028 for information about volunteering. Thank you, your help is creating a lasting environmental impact in our parks.
