Right now we are looking for Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators & General Laborers to work for one of our top customers in Savannah. Below are some of the requirements for the job. Heavy Equipment Operators: Local construction and land clearing company in search of experienced equipment operators. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating various types of equipment, including but not limited to: bulldozer, front end loader, backhoe, trackhoe, excavator, motor grader. Bobcat experience is not optimum but will be considered. GPS ability is a plus, as work sites typically consist of dirt with little to no landmarks to refer to. The ability to communicate with others while safely operating equipment is priority. Long hours and weekend work likely while weather permits. ​​​​​​​General road construction labor: Duties typically include installing the cones, signs and barricades that warn drivers and control the flow of traffic, acting as flagmen to stop or direct traffic, clearing debris from the work site, using jackhammers to break up existing pavement and tending equipment such as cement mixers or asphalt heaters. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid drivers license and steel toed boots. All employees must arrive on the job with a hard hat, Class III Safety Vest, gloves and goggles. Minimum Eligibility Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to pass a drug screen & Background Check You must be eligible to work in the United States
