DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports: Someone shot a bullet through a kitchen window between 6 p.m. May and 6 a.m. May 3 in the 3000 block of Beller Drive. The loss was estimated at $1,000. A bicycle was stolen between 3:45 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. May 5 at Smart Oaks Park, 1500 N. Frontage Road. Darien police recovered the bicycle that evening, but the police report did not provide details.Trashawn Harper, 27, of Willowbrook, was cited about 11 p.m. May 3 in the 8200 block of Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Jeffrey Loving, 25, of Romeoville, was arrested about 12:15 a.m. May 6 in the 8900 block of Cass Avenue on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding. He was speeding 61 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.Luis Soto Lozano, 21, of Summit, was cited about 2 a.m. Friday in the area of Cass Avenue at 75th Street on charges of no valid driver's license and prohibited lights. His lights were purple. He was released and given a date to appear in court. About 4 a.m. May 7, an officer saw two cars headed west in the 1100 block of 75th Street disobeying a traffic signal. Jazzmine Batts, 25, of Gary, Indiana, was cited for driving with a suspended license and disobeying a traffic signal. Dominique Hogan, 30, of Chicago Heights, was cited on charges of disobeying a traffic signal, improper backing of a vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. They were released and given a date to appear in court. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
