What you will be doing: This fast-paced support staff position involves a variety of tasks from carrying boxes up and down stairs to working with other vendors to help our Handyman crew get their projects completed. This is a full-time position at 30+ hours per week in SE Michigan. It's a great opportunity for people looking to return to work or college students looking for fun and interesting work. Responsibilities: HANDYMAN SERVICES: *Facilitate and coordinate vendor, client and Betty Brigade team communications in a timely and effective manner under establish BB policies. *Schedule additional vendors to ensure timelines and accuracy for successful client outcomes. *Demonstrate ability to lift and carry household items and furniture, up to 40 pounds, repetitively, both in single-story and multi-story locations. *Willingness to be trained in and practice standardized handyman techniques to ensure quality and customer service. Qualifications: Computer skills and/or willingness to learn online scheduling system and timesheet management Strong client focus Promptness Strong attention to detail in all tasks *Availability ALL DAY weekdays *Access to a vehicle throughout your entire shift *Access to a computer prior to start of and end of shift *Passing of a background check, with two or less points on driving record *Cell phone access throughout shift *Access to a computer prior to start of and end of shift *Willingness to adhere to our non-smoking policy *Adherence to dress code: must wear BB provided shirt, jeans or khakis (no holes or stains); closed-toed flat shoes. Piercings and tattoos should be not prominent.
