PARADE ENTRY DEADLINE The deadline to participate in the 27th Annual Memorial Day parade in Dacula has been extended. Entries must be postmarked before midnight, Friday, May 21, 2021. If you would like to participate in the parade, go to the parade page at www.daculamemorialday.com to download the entry form and for more information. The theme for this year's parade is "So That We May Be Free" and honors those men and women that paid the ultimate sacrifice with their service to our country. Questions? Email [email protected] MILITARY FLYOVER I am excited to announce that there will be an aerial flyover at the 27th Annual Memorial Day parade in Dacula! Two UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters will open the parade this year. The flyover is supported by the Georgia Army National Guard, C Company 1-106th Assault Helicopter Battalion and Army Aviation Support Facility #1 in Winder, GA You won't want to miss this! NATIONAL ANTHEM In search of someone or a small group to sing the National Anthem 'A Capella' for the 27th Annual Dacula Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 31, 2021. Must have past experience singing our National Anthem in front of large crowds! if you are interested or know someone or small group that would be interested, email [email protected] as soon as possible with a brief history about your singing the National Anthem and your contact information.
