We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills to join our team as a Janitor Supervisor (Full-Time position). The ideal candidate for this position needs a Strong leadership skills, and is detail-oriented, flexible, willing to take on non-routine instructions as the need arises. The Shift supervisors will be responsible to work and check the crew in the building, building inspections, make sure the cleaners follow policies rules and daily tasks, and several other activities related with the janitorial service. The employee on this position will report directly to the site Are Manager.
Responsibilities:
-Perform general clean up project as directed by the Manager.
-Manage the daily routine.
-Manage and Supervise the cleaning crew.
-Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
-Check and work with the day crew on any tasks for 2nd shift.
-Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
-Ensure Janitor room and equipment are maintained by the cleaners.
Qualifications:
-Janitorial/Leadership experience.
-Willingness to work starting at 12pm - 9:00pm Monday to Friday. Occasionally extra hours and weekend as needed
-Ability to work well under supervision or non supervision.
-Capacity to take directions from the Area Manager.
-Strong attention to details.
-Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
-Help with special projects in the building as needed.
