Chaz Ltd. Collision Express, the Gold Medal Winner for THE BEST CAR REPAIR COMPANY IN ALASKA is seeking a parts coordinate to expedite all activity pertaining to parts and sublet ordering, receiving, and returning. Deliver complete, accurate, undamaged parts to the technicians, and ensure acceptable profitability is achieved on all purchases, and promptly obtain credit memos and refunds. Responsibilities 1. Participate in daily production meetings. 2. Maintain acceptable gross profit (GP) levels on all received items. 3. Establish and nurture relationships with parts and sublet vendors. 4. Follow up and call vendors daily for status on parts not yet received. 5. Update ETAs in NEXSYIS DAILY. 6. Notify Production or Front Desk when critical parts have been received. 7. Create Purchase Orders in NEXSYIS. 8. Order parts electronically and verbally, based on the Parts Worksheet supplied by the Production Manager and/or Service Advisor. 9. Coordinate the ordering of supplemental parts based on the documentation received from the Production Manager or Service Advisor. 10. Issue POs, order, receive, and invoice sublet operations. 11. Receive and invoice all parts both physically and electronically. 12. Check all parts thoroughly for damage and correctness. 13. Sign delivery invoices for correct and proper parts that are being received into inventory. 14. Place correct parts on racks and distribute to technicians. 15. Store all parts not yet dispatched to technicians in a neat and orderly manner. 16. Post all parts invoices in received screen when they are physically received. 17. Correct parts descriptions that are being price matched. 18. Tag and return for immediate credit all incorrect, damaged, and unused parts. 19. Ensure driver signs the Chaz return for credit sheet. 20. Follow up and call vendors daily for credits or refunds not yet received. 21. Reconcile parts used and invoices received against parts billed to the RO. 22. Maintain inventory of rivets, fasteners, nuts and bolts. 23. Monitor safety and shop supplies. 24. Department maintenance, parts cart maintenance, shelving and fixture maintenance 25. Keep parts area safe, neat, clean and organized at all times. 26. Identify the causes of product losses and take corrective action. 27. Train new associates. 28. Plan, assign, and direct the work of the shipping and receiving technician. Minimum Qualifications • Valid Alaska Drivers’ license. • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum three years’ experience performing parts, warehouse, or similar work. • Intermediate computer skills using applications including Alldata, Motors, Mitchell and various reference manuals and websites. • Two years of parts department, warehouse, stocking, or retail experience. • Interest in automobiles. Physical Requirements • Possess good hand-eye coordination. • Ability to work outside for short time periods in cold temperatures. • Ability to stand, sit, lift, bend, or work in small places. • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. • Ability to work and walk around equipment or obstacles. • Ability to don a half mask or respirator. Measurement Criteria • Accuracy of data entered in to NEX or CCC1. • Punctual and present every day. • GP consistently meets the standard. • Correct, undamaged parts are available for all vehicles before their scheduled start dates. • Supplemental parts are expedited to maintain the production schedule. • Stocked items are maintained with correct min/max levels. • Incoming shipments are correctly and promptly processed and put away in their proper location. • No comebacks due to missing or defective parts.
