Avant-Rock guitarist looking for like minded others

Hello, moved from Seattle last year and hoping to find others to play with in the Portland area. Had several long running and giging bands in Seattle, Sunship and Ask the Ages, both bands where essentially acoustic jazz bands with me playing loud, distorted guitar. I wrote most of the music and we played long form improvisations. some bands/musicians that might be a reference are Nels Cline, Scorch Trio, David Torn, Late John Coltrane, Zappa, King Crimson.
