The Part-Time floor care technician will work under the supervision of the Account Manager / Supervisor and perform a variety of flor care maintenance and restoration duties for C&W Services including day-to-day and periodic floor care in assigned work areas. Specific responsibilities for the floor care technician will be determined by client expectations, Manager / Supervisor discretion and floor care technician capabilities and experience. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services. Part-Time Floor techs work from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Previous floor tech experience preferred. • Buff and polish tile and terrazzo floors. • Strip and wax floors according to schedule. • Deep sanitization of restrooms and restroom floors. • Vacuum and detail various types of carpet in offices and public areas. • Clean and treat various surfaces, including ceramic, stone, metal, glass and leather. • Provide touch-up cleaning in high visibility and/or high traffic areas. • Fully scrub, sanitize and disinfect all surfaces used by guests and team members. • Prepare gaming floor for guests after closing and maintain cleanliness throughout shift. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces. • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and notifies the Custodial Manager or Lead if repairs or replacement is necessary. • Maintain appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas. • Work safely at all times and promptly inform management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area. • Wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed. • Any and all other duties as assigned. *Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history. Requirements: • Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as a part of a team. • Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment. • Must have attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service and high levels of energy and endurance. • Ability to use light and heavy weight tools and equipment for extended periods of time. • May be required to work in a smoking area. • Ability to walk for extended periods of time, as well as bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. and carry for a distance of up to 10 ft. • Have sound working knowledge of effective use of various floor care machines and techniques.
