WAREHOUSE ASSISTANCE- VERNON, Ca We are searching for an energetic Warehouse Assistant to help with tagging and packing merchandise. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for organizing, stickering/tagging, and preparing outgoing special orders to customers. In addition to shipping individual orders to customers, you will be responsible for general operational tasks in the warehouse. Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities: • Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment. • Preparing outgoing special orders, and requests. • Marking and labeling stock. • Storing inventory in accessible manner. • Able to work in team or independently without supervision and get the task completed correctly. •Proactive ability to multi-task and prioritize task completion. •Accuracy counting and attention to detail is key for this position. You must have the ability to be count inventory and focus on small differences between products being shipped •Prior experience with warehouse environment a huge plus. •Basic math and communication skills. • English knowledge preferred. Warehouse Assistant Requirements: • 18 years of age or older. • Prior work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse. • Strong people skills. • Available to work flexible hours when needed. • <30 lbs. lifting required. • Can handle a high-paced, busy environment. • Ability to multitask. • Reliable and punctual. • Accountable. • Friendly and able to work as a team or independently. Looking for 35-40 hours per week (Mon.-Fri.) until the end of July 2021 under independent contracting 1009-MISC. at $13/hour. Opportunity of job stability after July 2021 if they meet what we are looking for.
