Situated on 65 private acres within Wichita city limits, D&J Ranch is a full-care horse boarding facility that offers both stall and pasture boarding. With over 35 years experience owning, showing, and boarding horses, rest assured that your horse will be receiving first class care. Stalls are available immediately. Spacious 12x12 stalls are cleaned daily. Complimentary daily turnout of your choice is available, whether you prefer to keep your horse by himself in a pen or turned out in a pasture with others. All stalled horses are grained twice daily, once in the morning and again in the evening. Any supplements you provide for your horse will be given free of charge. Horses in our turnout pastures have free-choice access to a round bale, while penned horses are hayed in the morning and again at noon, and all horses are hayed in the evening upon returning to their stall. We have two arenas: a large 100 x 200 outdoor fenced arena equipped with two stadium lights and a lighted 100 x 60 indoor riding arena for inclement weather, training purposes, or general riding. Arenas are turned weekly or as needed for even footing. Acres of pastures and trails on site will make you forget you're in the heart of the city. Inside the barn you will find a large grooming bay, a wash bay with hot and cold water, and locked tack rooms to store your items securely. Our climate-controlled boarder's lounge offers a TV, bathroom, refrigerator, and microwave. You are free to use your own farrier or ours, who comes once a week. Free trailer parking for boarders.
