Job Description Our rapidly growing construction firm is hiring full-time, permanent new team members to help us air seal and insulate commercial and some residential buildings to make them nicer and more comfortable to live and work in. Our work helps decrease energy use and greenhouse gases, making the world a more efficient and sustainable place. Work includes installing weatherstripping, sealants, and insulation; basic carpentry and metalwork; using power and hand tools; and driving DOT-regulated trucks and vans (no CDL required) and aerial lifts. Prefer experienced construction workers, but will train in specifics. Hours Work week is usually Monday through Friday, but may vary depending on client requirements or production needs. Work may be first, second or third shift. Benefits Tools, protective equipment, and per diem/lodging when working out of town are provided. Benefits include uniforms, 401(k), Health/Dental Insurance contribution, prevailing wage supplemental unemployment (SUB) plan and 401(k) retirement plan. Company provides training for job requirements, e.g. OSHA 10/30, CPR and First Aid, spray foam applicator certifications, etc. Requirements Must be neat and polite; clean shaven. Must be willing to travel. Need reliable transportation and valid driver’s license to get to and from job sites, and have a clean driving record. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, be skilled with hand and power tools, and able to measure and cut to 1/16” of an inch. Need to be comfortable working at height and in small or dirty areas, working indoors and out in all weather, and occasionally working around insects and other pests. Basic competency in reading, writing and math. Must have smart phone capable of sending photos of problem work areas.
