GW Scott Landscaping in Westminster, Colorado is a commercial landscape company that has been in business for 40 years working with large commercial clients. We are looking for a Landscapers that are familiar with operating equipment, installing landscape, hardscapes, and Irrigation and who wants to work with a very busy smaller company. Duties and Tasks: Duties include various combinations of the following: *Sprinkler installation, rock and compost installation. *Plants trees, shrubs, grasses, and perennials *Promotes a culture of safety in the workplace and reports safety hazards when observed *Has a good eye for detail and perform duties to a high level of quality. *Works well with others Work Environment: *Will be required to operate motor vehicles including, skid steer, backhoe, roller, tractors, air compressor, rotor-tiller, trencher, trailer, chainsaw and hand tools, *Reads and understands instructions; communicates information and responds to questions individually and in small groups *Physical activities include working in a confined space, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, and lifting for periods of time in various individual conditions. *Will meet on project sites or sometimes at the yard to carpool Schedule: *Monday to Friday (8 hour shifts) *Some Saturdays Experience: *Irrigation: 1 year (preferred) *Landscaping: 1 year (preferred) Language: *Bilingual (Preferred), but can teach Spanish *Valid Driver's license (preferred) *Authorized to work in the United States
