Reposting this since last month could not do it: my building manager caught covid. They are back and can proceed with water shut off.
---------
Job Requirement:
Need Liability insurance of $500k and vald plumber's license
Looking for quotes on sweating fitting 2 shut off valves on my hot/cold line copper pipes behind the shower wall.
1. Remove the existing shower valve(standard shower valve as seen in photos linked at bottom)
2. Add a Shut-Off Valve to each of the hot and cold lines copper pipes.
I'm installing a newer shower system myself afterwards but never sweated copper pipe before. My Building requires a Licensed plumber with liability insurance otherwise I'd do it myself.
I have the ball valves, opening, solder ready to go already.
2 hour time limit on pipes since it's an apartment that will shut off the water.
Flexible schedule but 48 hours heads up required for Property manager to inform other residents of water shut off.
