We are seeking a Mitigation Technician to join our Disaster Restoration division. At L4 Property Services, our philosophy is different. As a Mitigation Technician, duties include but are not limited to: - Effectively serves as a resourceful on-site point of contact for clients who have experienced water, sewage, mold, fire, smoke, storm or structural damage to their home or business. Thoroughly explains the mitigation/remediation process to enable the customer to feel well-informed and reassured of the steps we will be taking to mitigate their problem. - Responsible for accurate and timely setup and operations of drying and extracting equipment. - Effectively handles specialized tasks related to structure and contents cleaning. - Accurately maintains daily moisture logs when handling water events. - Builds containment barriers and monitors appropriate air levels during mold remediation events. - Per each loss, accurately and timely completes all customer job forms and job site sketches, scans and submits each to Operations Manager. - Based upon day-to-day job assignments and company business needs, at times effectively serves in the capacity of Helper, performing routine responsibilities to include, but not limited to, demolition work, equipment setup/removal, job site cleanup, etc - On each and every job, accurately utilizes and consistently wears company-supplied Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety of oneself and fellow team members at all times. - Completes each job task in a timely, accurate and thorough manner. - Consistently follows through to the point of completion with each and every task - Performs other duties, as required/needed. Selected candidates must be: - Prompt and timely in all facets of the role. - Accessible while on call after-hours and weekends. - Focused on the details in everything we do. - Have the utmost integrity. - 100% work ethic. Ideal candidates must possess: - Minimum of 2 years industry experience as a Water Restoration Technician performing the duties outlined above. - WRT Certification through IICRC a must. - Flexibility to work a variety of scheduled hours, whether day, night or weekend with ability to work a rotating on-call schedule. - A 100% customer service mindset. - Clear communication skills. - Must be a team player. - High attention to detail. - Appearance must be neat and clean at all times to effectively represent the company. - Ability to perform manual labor, lifting up to 50 lbs. continuously. - A valid driver’s license with clean driving history (because you will drive a company vehicle to/from all assigned jobs). - Must pass criminal background check including drug screen.
