A National Recycling Company is needing to fill recycling sorter positions immediately. The facility is indoor and requires being on your feet for long periods of time. Puncture resistant boots are required for this position. All other required PPE is provided by the recycling facility. This is a 90 day contingent position WITH A HIGH POSSIBILITY TO GET HIRED DIRECTLY BY THE CORPORATION WITH A GREAT BENEFITS PACKAGE. Responsibilities: • Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items. • Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergency situations. • Inspect incoming loads for unacceptable waste; remove unacceptable items as required. • Communicate with equipment operators regarding incoming loads of special waste or other loads that require special attention. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. • Must be able to stand continually through entire shift. • Must be able to work at a fast paced environment. • Must have your own transportation • Steel toe boots • Long Pants • Long Sleeves Schedule: Monday through Friday with the shift beginning at 5:00 AM up until the material for the day is finished being sorted.
