Description
I have a GSP that needs a lot more. I have had her for two years after rescuing her from the shelter. We made it work with a lot of boarding for about a year while I was living in an apartment, and it worked but got too expensive.
I have been grateful to have been able to buy a house back in January so that she can have a yard to run around in. However, the yard has not been enough and I have other responsibilities that I h
ave to attend to so she has been taking time to do a lot of things out of boredom, which is digging holes and jumping the fence almost daily. I still have the shock collar to try, but the real goal for me is to get her what she has truly desired. That's a massive yard (probably an acre or more) to run around and the ability to chase birds, squirrels, and rabbits all day long.
She definitely has a lot of energy, even me being a runner, she exceeds what I can provide her. In December, we ran a marathon together, if that shows how athletic she is.
I'm still trying to work with her and working to make our situation work. But, if there is someone that has other dogs and/or large property then I would consider letting her go for her needs. I love this dog and I want to do what she needs, so I wouldn't charge any rehoming fees. She has been expensive, but they were good learning lessons for me and well worth the money.
Her name is Bella is roughly 3.5 - 4 years old. She is spaded. She is very active and we ran a lot, she packed a lot of lean muscle. She is very intimidating looking when she gets built. When we living in the apartment, I only heard her bark 4 times and since we have been living in the house, she loves to bark at other dogs and people passing by.
