We are hiring the right attitude!! Canine Crews is a full-service dog daycare and boarding facility looking for the right attitude to be part of our team. Please read to the end for specific instructions to be considered for a role in Canine Crews. We are currently hiring for Dog Handler. We can offer part-time or full-time and do our best to work around schedules. Great position for musicians, college students and anyone looking for extra love from the dogs! Candidates must have: ~An innate love for dogs and an investment in their overall well-being. ~The ability to embrace our training program to learn animal behavior, off-leash play group safety and pet care techniques with a high level of communication. ~The ability and willingness to clean, clean, clean and then clean some more. ~Team spirit - the ability to work with others and support the purpose and values of Canine Crews. This includes following PPE guidelines of our business, city and state. ~The ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time as well as be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance. ~A strong stomach in regards to pet waste. You don't have to love poop, but you need to be able to handle it safely and efficiently. **Weekend and holiday availability - this is a service based business and we are busiest during holidays and the summer. Dog Handlers train at $15.00/hour, with increases available directly after training. No experience necessary and we have the opportunity to cross-train with other positions to create variety in one's schedule.
