Description
A local 501c3 animal rescue seeks a foster or forever home for Jasper, a beautiful Catahoula Leopard mix who would so love a home environment. The rescue will provide a dog crate, dog food, collar, leash and any items Jasper may need in foster care, plus cover any medical expenses if any are required. The foster would determine the length of his stay--when he arrives and when he leaves.
Jasper's profile is below.
Catahoula Leopard mix
2 years old, 55 pounds
Fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative and chipped
Jasper is a super friendly boy who would love a family to call his own! He was rescued from a high kill shelter in Gastonia, North Carolina and was a shelter favorite. This boy is 55 pounds of love and energy. He would love to have a nice yard to play ball with you in, pick up sticks for you or just roll around in the grass. If you love to run, hike or take long walks - this is the boy for you. But he also loves to take an afternoon siesta on the sofa with you and LOVES snuggle time at night. Jasper was presented at the shelter as dog friendly and he is as long as another dog is not the high energy alpha type. He would do best in a home without cats or children under 14. He is just very active and his natural Catahoula herding comes out! But he has been in training and has learned his commands. He is housebroken, LOVES the car, is friendly to everyone
