Painter/Factory Worker Summary: This position will be responsible for performing production work in our Factory. This person will be working in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment. Pay Rate: $14-15 Summary: • Perform in an assembly and manufacturing environment to operate tools and performing the following functions. *Painting docks and ramps (water paint) *cutting *grinders *sprayers • Helps to maintain all of the shop’s equipment, such as non-electric, electric and air-powered tools, torches, grinders and presses; or oversees the maintenance of the equipment by workers. • Move raw materials to the production areas and finished products to the storage areas. • Assist in unloading containers from the forklifts and loading them on delivery trucks. • Able to work under pressure. Skills Required/Qualifications • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous shop/warehouse experience. • Skilled in Forklift operations; • Able to lift 50 lbs. and be on foot a majority of the day. • Capability to comprehend quality control techniques. • Acceptable knowledge of safety and health principles with OSHA certifications a plus. • Able to work independently with a positive “can do” attitude. • The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed, multi-task, • Bilingual capabilities not required, but are a plus. • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
