I originally posted this 2 days ago and it got flagged! It does NOT however violate TOU so I am reposting! Flag me again and I'll reciprocate the real violators of the TOU that have animals for sale. I guess I hit a little too close to home and triggered the greedy people. But you know what? Only guilty people object/flag/try to hide/report etc. So you just outed yourselves. Quit being so greedy and lower your prices instead of being mad because someone calls you out on it. YOU KNOW ITS WRONG!!! The prices around here for dogs and cats are ridiculous...$700-8000 for a puppy, rehoming fees over $100 and up is crazy especially if they're not spayed or neutered! Greed has gotten a hold of people and made it almost impossible for a good person to afford a pet. I'm looking for a dog now, but I can't afford that kind of money and still be able to care for said animal. I'm not going in debt to have an "oops mistake" puppy from a litter. I just lost my dog of 16 years and want another one so bad...I don't care about breed, papers, AKC, BS...I will love a dog like it's my child but it would be crazy to go in debt for one. This seems to be a regional issue also...because I've searched Craigslist in different cities I could drive to in a day and there are free to $100 dogs out there, just not in this greed ravaged area at the moment. It saddens me, and asking for a huge amount of money doesn't guarantee that the person will care for and love the animal. It could quite possibly cause the animal to be abused...if the dog doesn't live up to the adopters expectations and they get mad for putting out so much money they take their frustrations out on an innocent creature. Y'all ought to be ashamed of yourselves...Peace Out!
