ATTENTION TO CONTRACTORS: On Wednesday, May 26th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. a pre-bid meeting will be held at the site, 64 West Fayette Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84101. An inspection of the property will follow immediately after the pre-bid meeting. Work items include:  New thermally-broken steel glass windows and entry door will replace the old aluminum glass windows.  Structural upgrades for SE corner window  Terra Cotta Façade  Add 3” of continuous insultation to all exterior walls of front structure  Add a new rain screen façade to all elevations of front building  Replace parapet cap  Conceal existing roof drain downspout behind new façade Sealed bids will be received by Scott Hinton, the Project Manager, at 64 West Fayette Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah, until 5:00 p.m., on June 10th, 2021 for Façade LLC. Sealed bids will be publicly reviewed shortly thereafter, at 5:10 p.m., on June 10th, 2021 by the Project Manager, or their representative. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: Bid documents may be obtained only at the prebid meeting. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory. NOTICE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS This project will be a FEDERALLY FINANCED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. All rules and regulations governing such projects will be applicable. The contract is to be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in the request for bids. Requirements for prevailing wage rates and certified payrolls apply as it is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Also, work to be completed under this project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, the purpose of which is to ensure employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD-assisted projects shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
