We are looking for a person to join our team as a porter and maintenance man. We are an independent family owned and operated commercial vehicle dealership in the Greater Heights Area of Houston. Our business has thrived for more than 30 years in this amazing city, and we are still going strong. We have been very selective with hiring, and we are looking for someone that is wanting to invest in a long term career. Some of the duties will include, but not limited to: Moving vehicles around the lot and other destinations Keeping the lot clean from trash and debris Making sure the vehicles are aligned and orderly Assisting the service tech with his duties Communicating with the staff and helping them prep vehicles for customers Job Qualifications: Must have a valid drivers license Must be fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written Must be able to follow orders and complete task independently and work well with others Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to work in the outdoor elements all year  Must have your own reliable transportation  Must be able to work 6 days a week Must be clean and presentable Must be a non smoker and drug free Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Must be honest and trustworthy  Must be pleasant to customers and friendly with coworkers There will be a 90 day orientation period where we will monitor your performance, After the 90 days we will know if you are a good fit for our team, and you will have time to know if we are a good fit for you.  We are open from 10am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday. You will need to be able to work 6 days a week, and arrive at 9:30. You will have a 30 min lunch break, and multiple water breaks as needed. You will be expected to stay past 6pm if we still have customers on the lot.  Compensation: Salary for the orientation period will be $400 a week and paid cash every Saturday evening Salary for after the orientation period will depend on your attitude and performance We are all working to make money for ourselves and our loved ones.
