There original music is built on straight-ahead rock and blues—a sound that isn’t tied rigidly to either genre and consequently bends the unlikeliest ears. Kolker has a markedly individualistic style as a singer, songwriter and as a guitarist. Paul LeFebvre’s pedal steel guitar brings an ethereal twist to this music. Dimitri Skliar is on guitar and vocals with Nikolaus Schuhbeck and Andrea Monorchio on drums and bass playing with finesse and abandon. David Kolker Band is dynamic and unrestrained onstage.
